Thank you...
We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our prayer partners and
supporters for your faithfulness down the years. In the (slightly altered) words of
the Apostle Paul to the Philippians (chapter 1: 3-6):
“We thank our God every time we remember you. In all our prayers for all of you,
we always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first
day until now, being confident in this, that He who began a good work through
GBS will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
As you have partnered with us in this ministry you have become one with us in
taking the precious word of God to many thousands of people through the
broadcasts and the literature and the many letters written in response to
listeners.
Although this year the Gospel Broadcasting System Ltd. will cease to exist as a
Company Limited by Guarantee and a Registered Charity, it is intended that the
GBS team will continue to meet informally and the “Discovery” talks will be made
available to those who can use them; for example, by Christians using Internet
radio stations and other on-line media. Archive versions of the full “Discovery”
programme will continue over Flame Radio, Wirral.
As secretary and nominal leader of the team, I wish to place on record my
personal thanks to every member of the present team and to the “Discovery”
speakers for their hard work and commitment to the various roles they have
undertaken.
Having been associated with GBS since 1958, and as a
team member since 1960, the time has come for me to
“hang-up my microphone”. It has been a privilege to have
worked together for the faith of the gospel.
Yours sincerely in Christ,
J. Keith Stuffins
(Secretary etc.)
